JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

Dr. Arenia C. Mallory Community Health Center, Inc. (Mallory CHC) a 501C (3) Not-for-profit and Federally Qualified Health Center, is currently accepting applications and resumes for a CLINICAL CARE LIAISON. The Clinical Care Liaison assures quality care by assisting in the development of Performance Improvement Standards, Policies and Procedures. Assist in maintaining a safe and healthful environment by identifying, anticipating and addressing concerns and hazards for staff, patients, and visitors. Assists supervisors and employees in accomplishing job results by identifying training needs and recommending programs to meet those needs. Demonstrate the ability to be a team player. 

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

Must be able to assist in establishing performance standard by studying and evaluating government, accreditation guidelines with Administration, nursing and medical staff. Must be able to abstract data from electronic health record system and compile information for UDS reporting.


Job Descriptions:

The clinical care liaison assures quality care by assisting in the development of Performance Improvement Standards, Policies and Procedures. Assist in maintaining a safe and healthful environment by identifying, anticipating and addressing concerns and hazards for staff, patients, and visitors. Assists Medical and Clinical needs in accomplishing job results by identifying training needs and recommending programs to meet those needs. Conducts training, orientation, and staff development from identified needs. Demonstrate the ability to collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends. Demonstrate knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with staff, patients, families, and visitors of all age groups while being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs. Demonstrate a willingness to provide backup to health center nurses as needed. Coordinates with Medical Records to review charts and log audit for compliance.


Educational Background:

Bachelor of Science or ADN Degree from a university or college with 2 years' experience, or must be a Licensed Practice Nurse in the state of Mississippi with 5 years' experience.
