The 2017 Champions 4 Health Tour - August 14-17, 2017
Join us for an exciting event – Following the 65x65 statewide Race & Obesity Challenge, the Mississippi Primary Health Care Association is presenting The 2017 Champions 4 Health Tour! This will be a platform hosted during National Health Center Week for discussing critical issues related to healthcare, economic & workforce development, as well as education and innovation through technology. Panelists will include a bipartisan conclave of legislative leaders, business industry professionals, education & healthcare professionals and community advocates for Community Health Centers. Conversations will be facilitated by CEOs of the various CHCs statewide with patient testimonials included. Voter registration booths will be on hand for residents, as well.
Tours of local Community Health Centers will precede a stellar presentation of stakeholders. The Panelists for the Champions 4 Health Tour embody a diverse representation of Mississippi’s thought leaders and ambassadors in public policy, educative leadership, workforce innovation and healthcare. This illustrious cadre will contribute to a robust conversation that moves from discourse to deliverable action items that speak to the mission and purpose of Mississippi’s Community Health Centers and the people they serve.
